The 108th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, one of the world’s leading menswear trade shows, is set to take place in Florence from June 17 to 20, 2025. This season, two visionary designers representing the next generation of Korean and Italian fashion will be welcomed as Guest Designers.
The invited names are POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF), the avant-garde menswear label founded in Seoul, and Niccolò Pasqualetti, a rising designer from Tuscany and a finalist for the 2024 LVMH Prize. From structural experimentation to poetic minimalism, both brands are drawing global attention for redefining the future of menswear through innovation and conceptual depth.
POST ARCHIVE FACTION: Reconstructing Form, Defining the Future
Founded in 2018 by Dongjoon Lim and Sookyo Jeong, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) explores the boundaries of garment construction through what it calls “the archive of the future.” With asymmetric cuts, layered panel structures, and signature crinkling techniques, the brand fuses elements of sportswear, technology, and art into a distinctive design language that resonates on a global scale.
Today, PAF is stocked in over 75 leading retailers worldwide, including Dover Street Market, SSENSE, H.Lorenzo, and GR8. The brand has also collaborated with Virgil Abloh ℅ Off-White™, On, and District Vision, further solidifying its international presence.
Lapo Cianchi, Director of Communications & Events at Pitti Immagine, commented: “For several seasons now at Pitti, we’ve been paying particular attention to the culture and aesthetic of South Korea. It’s a growing market, highly significant for Italian fashion and for the fair – considering the strong turnout of journalists and business professionals at Pitti Uomo – but also a fertile ground for scouting the new generation of fashion designers and young creatives who stand out for their versatility and ability to connect different artistic languages and disciplines.”
During Pitti Uomo 108, PAF will present a special event in collaboration with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), offering visitors a deeper look into the brand’s experimental ethos and structural precision.

Niccolò Pasqualetti: A Quiet Force from Tuscany
The second Guest Designer, Niccolò Pasqualetti, brings a uniquely Italian perspective that bridges classic tailoring with contemporary artistic expression. After studying womenswear at Central Saint Martins and working at Loewe, Pasqualetti launched his eponymous brand in 2021. In 2024, he was named a finalist for the prestigious LVMH Prize.
Inspired by sculptor Jean Arp, Pasqualetti’s collections often explore fluidity between masculine and feminine, tradition and innovation. His garments embody understated elegance rooted in craftsmanship and poetic restraint.
This season at Pitti Uomo will mark the debut of his menswear runway collection, presented in Florence, just a short distance from his hometown.
Francesca Tacconi, Special Events Coordinator at Pitti Immagine, shared her view: “We’re thrilled to celebrate in Florence the fresh and unstoppable talent of a true Tuscan, someone who merges aesthetic sophistication with expressive freedom. We can’t wait to discover the experience he’s envisioned for Pitti Uomo and its audience. We’re certain it will be filled with emotion and surprise.”
Pasqualetti also shared his thoughts: “It means a lot to be invited to show at this season’s Pitti Immagine Uomo, which for me has always stood for rigour in the making and meaning of clothes. Being from near Florence, I am especially thankful for this chance to return and present my work here. The codes of menswear have always informed my desire for precision, for expressive details, and for a certain freedom in dressing. I’m eager to evolve these codes while staying true to them.”

Guest of Honor: HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE
In addition to the two Guest Designers, HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE has been announced as this season’s Guest of Honor. Known for its pioneering pleating techniques and minimalist design language, the Japanese brand will host a special event on June 18 in Florence city center. The showcase is expected to highlight the brand’s fusion of functionality, craftsmanship, and artistic heritage within the urban and architectural context of the Renaissance city.
