L’Oréal and NVIDIA Collaborate to Develop Next-Gen Beauty Experiences Using Generative AI

L’ORÉAL AND NVIDIA

On June 11, L’Oréal Groupe announced a strategic partnership with U.S.-based AI chipmaker NVIDIA to accelerate the use of AI in the beauty industry. The announcement was made during the “New Frontiers of Beauty” press conference held at the Viva Technology event in Paris, where both companies shared their vision of combining generative AI and 3D technologies to create unprecedented beauty experiences.

Asmita Dubey, Chief Digital and Marketing Officer at L’Oréal Groupe, stated, “Our focus is to drive unparalleled consumer engagement, with both creativity and technology, as transformative technologies such as gen AI & agentic AI redefine our consumer expectations. We are incredibly excited to collaborate with NVIDIA to leverage AI’s potential, in order to augment creativity, and to help turn consumers’ beauty dreams into reality.”

Azita Martin, Vice President of Retail and Consumer Goods at NVIDIA, added, “L’Oréal, along with NVIDIA is unlocking the full potential of AI in beauty, and make consumer beauty experiences even more seamless, rewarding, and fun.”

L’Oréal and NVIDIA have already launched several practical initiatives under this partnership.

One such project is CREAITECH, L’Oréal’s generative AI content platform. The platform leverages 3D digital rendering of L’Oréal’s products to streamline and enhance the quality of marketing and advertising content creation. By using NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure, CREAITECH aims to balance scale and creativity while boosting engagement across social media, e-commerce platforms, and influencer campaigns.

Another highlight is Noli, an AI-powered multi-brand beauty marketplace launched by L’Oréal. The name “Noli” is derived from “No one like I,” reflecting its mission to reinvent how consumers discover and purchase beauty products. Drawing on L’Oréal’s extensive beauty science expertise and consumer insights, Noli integrates advanced diagnostic and recommendation technologies. The platform analyzes over one million skin data points and thousands of product formulations to match users with the ideal products, which are then delivered directly to their homes.

In addition, Noli is introducing a new AI development platform called the “AI Refinery” through collaboration with NVIDIA and Accenture. Built on Microsoft Azure and powered by NVIDIA’s AI Enterprise software, this infrastructure enables rapid, responsible AI deployment. It is designed to keep pace with evolving AI technologies and shifting consumer expectations, making it possible to deliver personalized beauty experiences at scale.

As L’Oréal continues to position itself at the intersection of beauty and technology, its adoption of AI is accelerating a transformation in consumer engagement—one that is poised to influence the industry as a whole.
