2025 Met Gala

The 2025 Met Gala will be held on May 5, 2025, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, marking the opening of The Costume Institute’s annual exhibition.
This year’s theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which explores the rich history and cultural significance of Black dandyism, drawing inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.
