On July 22, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced the provisional official schedule for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) to be held in September this year. The six-day event will take place from Friday, September 6th to Wednesday, September 11th, with approximately 60 designers set to showcase their Spring/Summer 2025 collections.
The glamorous collection week will kick off with the “Area” show at 1:00 PM on September 6th and conclude with the show by Melitta Baumeister, the 2023 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner, at 5:00 PM on September 11th.
This season, “Off-White,” “Ronald van der Kemp,” and “TOTEME” will participate in the official New York Fashion Week calendar for the first time.
Additionally, “COS,” “Cynthia Rowley,” “Simkhai,” and “Who Decides War” will return to the New York runway.
Moreover, “Michael Fausto,” “Salon 1884,” and “TWP” will be debuting on the official New York Fashion Week calendar for the first time. Meanwhile, “Ralph Lauren” and “Proenza Schouler” will hold shows for their latest collections ahead of the official calendar.
