Vogue will present “VOGUE World: New York,” A Fashion Show and Street Fair during NYFW

Vogue announced that they will take place “VOGUE World: New York,” A Fashion Show and Street Fair during New York Fashion Week.

This special event is to celebrate the publication’s 130th anniversary, and was inspired by the theme of Vogue Global’s September issue, “Fashion’s New World.” It will take place in a yet-to-be-disclosed Manhattan location on September 12th, 2022.

In this runway show, we can expect the following multi-dimensional experiences

  • Behind-the-scenes access to exclusive fashion moments
  • Encounters with Vogue editors
  • Celebratory street fair experience with fashion’s biggest names
  • Vogue’s selection of the best Fall/Winter 2022 looks brought to life on the runway

The runway show featured looks from the Fall/Winter 2022 collection with major fashion brands including Balenciaga, Dior, Gucci, Valentino, Burberry, Coach, Michael Kors, Brother Vellies, Bode, Conner Ives, Christopher John Rogers, Collina Strada, Matty Bovan, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch.

Tickets for the Runway show are currently on sale on Vogue.com.

There are 3 kinds of tickets for each row, the third row at $750, the second row at $1,800, and the front row at $3,000. The second and front row package includes membership to Vogue Club which is a subscription online community presented by Vogue that typically costs $25 a month (or $250 a year).  Also, Front Row ticket holders will get a special offer to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown New York at an exclusive rate.

The standing tickets were selling at $130 and also there was a student pass for free, but both of them already sold out now. 

According to Vogue, all ticket revenue from this event will be used to support the next generation of American fashion designers by the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.

 

In addition to viewing the runway show, visitors can access the street fair experience made up of Vogue-curated newsstands and limited-edition items created in partnership with leading brands and a shoppable selection of runway looks from Vogue’s partners including Moda Operandi, Mytheresa, NET-A-PORTER, Nordstrom, and Ssense.

The live stream will be available on Vogue.com, all Vogue-owned global sites, the Vogue Runway app, and Twitter. Vogue’s social media will also feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the runway and shoppable items.
