Aritzia Opens New Flagship Store on Fifth Avenue in New York

On December 16, Canadian fashion retailer Aritzia opened its new flagship boutique on Fifth Avenue in New York. Located just steps away from Rockefeller Center, the 33,600-square-foot space is three times the size of its previous store.

This new location marks a major milestone in Aritzia’s store strategy, offering more than just a shopping experience. The store’s design, created by the brand’s in-house design team, features a two-story archway entrance, expansive brick walls, and even a towering mushroom sculpture, making it a playful and unique space that offers visitors a special experience. The space also includes two A-OK cafes with views of the Rockefeller tree, where customers can enjoy newly introduced soft-serve ice cream, adding a delightful culinary element to the atmosphere. During the opening week, customers making qualifying purchases will receive special gift tags and exclusive bag charms, available in limited quantities.

Aritzia’s CEO, Jennifer Wong, shared her thoughts on the opening of the new store: “This expanded space offers increased visibility in one of the world’s most iconic shopping districts, drawing a global audience from the heart of Rockefeller Centre. We are proud to deepen our commitment to New York City and further establish our presence in premier retail destinations across the U.S.”

With the opening of this new store, Aritzia plans to continue its retail growth. Last month, the company opened its second location in Massachusetts at Burlington Mall and its first-ever store in Kansas at Town Center Crossing. It has also expanded into San Diego and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The opening of this flagship store will further strengthen the brand’s presence and accelerate its growth in the New York market and across the U.S.
