A. Lange & Söhne is a German luxury watchmaker founded by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in 1845 in Glashütte, Saxony. The brand represents the finest tradition of German watchmaking and is renowned for its exceptional finishing and technical innovation.
After being expropriated during the Soviet occupation, the brand was reborn in 1990 by Walter Lange, Ferdinand’s great-grandson. Every A. Lange & Söhne watch features a hand-engraved movement assembled twice for perfection.
Part of the Richemont Group, A. Lange & Söhne produces only a few thousand watches annually, each featuring the brand’s signature Glashütte striping, hand-engraved balance cocks, and German silver three-quarter plates.
