Gabriela Hearst is a Uruguayan-American fashion designer who launched her eponymous brand in 2015. Known for her commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship, Hearst has redefined what modern luxury means in an age of environmental consciousness.
Hearst’s designs are characterized by clean lines, luxurious natural fibers, and meticulous construction. Her Nina bag, which debuted in 2017, became an instant cult classic with waitlists stretching over a year. She also served as creative director of Chloé from 2020 to 2024.
The brand has been carbon-neutral since 2019 and prioritizes traceable materials, deadstock fabrics, and artisanal partnerships with communities in Uruguay and Bolivia.
