Complete Fashion Breakdown of Blackpink’s trending MV “Pink Venom”

Popular K-pop group BLACK PINK came back with a new song “PINK VENOM” on August 19, 2022.

The music video for PINK VENOM, released prior to the launch of their album, has the highest production cost in the history of YG Entertainment.  In this music video, each member hit the screen with various gorgeous costumes and attracted attention from all over the world.

In this article we will break down each member’s fashion style and spotlight the iconic moments in the music video.

Jisoo x Miss Sohee

The music video begins with a scene in which Jisoo plays the Korean musical instrument geomungo.

She is wearing Cartier jewelry and a bedazzling modern Hanbok gown designed by Miss Sohee, known as the next-generation couturier.

Next, Jenny struts down the red carpet laid out in front of a monster truck wearing a blood-reminiscent Alaïa sheer gown and black GCDS platform heels.

Lisa shows up in a mysterious Y2K style with Spanish brand ONRUSHW23FH’s micro miniskirt and Bulgari jewelry.

Lisa then appears in her signature street style. She is in a very ’90s hip-hop rapper look with a cropped basketball shirt by Korean brand Neon Genesis Oddity and denim overalls topped off with a Celine cloche hat.

To match Lisa’s street style Jenny showed up in her own sporty style, layering a Chanel pearl necklace and a Vivienne Westwood pearl choker over a Manchester United crop top.

Jisoo shows up wearing a white corset dress designed by Puglia-based label Marina Eerrie. A classical and elegant dress with strap detail on a flowing silhouette skirt from a bustier is more dignified and rebellious by adding a futuristic pink mask and pink metallic nails worn by Jisoo.

Rosé shows off her edgy rock style in a black latex mini dress and jacket.

The dress is her favorite brand for many years, Saint Laurent, and by adding Tiffany & Co.’s Hardware chain necklace stands out edgy all-black look more.

In the final scene of the music video, the members wear Bulgarian brand Demobaza and dance in an avant-garde look.

A pink-haired Lisa wears a Demobaza one-shoulder which is reminiscent of Rick Owens. The so-called “Human Chanel”, Jenny enjoys the Chanel jewelry collection in the Demobaza look.

This music video set an amazing record of over 10 million views in just over an hour after its release, proving BLACKPINK’s ability and popularity to the world.

On June 30th, BLACKPINK surpassed 75 million subscribers on BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel, becoming the first pop artist in the world to do so.

Also their world tour “BORN PINK WORLD TOUR” will be held in connection with the release of the “full album” scheduled to be released in September, and will be traveling around the world from this October.
