Ralph Lauren will return to New York Fashion Week (NYFW) this September.
It was reported that the brand will showcase its new womenswear line on the evening of September 8. As for whether the menswear line will be presented, there is no word yet, and the show venue has not been made public.
This is the first time in four years that the brand’s fashion show will be held during New York Fashion Week. The last time Ralph Lauren held a show during New York Fashion Week was on September 7, 2019. Lauren held his show in a spectacular ballroom on Wall Street that was transformed into “Ralph’s Club” for the occasion. In subsequent seasons, the brand has presented shows outside of the calendar in Los Angeles and New York.
The show was held at the Museum of Modern Art on March 22, 2022, that involved a gallery being transformed into a replica of Lauren’s Fifth Avenue apartment for a cocktail party and show. Guests included famous celebrities Gigi Hadid & Bella Hadid, Monáe, Shalom Harlow, Jessica Chastain, and Tyson Beckford.
The following season, on October 13, 2022, the show was held in the gardens of the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California, and featured Ralph Lauren’s women’s and men’s collections, and Purple Label, Double RL, Polo Ralph Lauren and Childrenswear Ralph Lauren’s women’s and men’s collections were shown.
Ralph Lauren has also resumed its participation in fashion weeks around the world. In June of this year, he returned to Milan’s Men’s Fashion Week for the first time in four years. There, he premiered his purple label collection titled “Dolce Vita” at the magnificent Palazzo Ralph Lauren in Via San Barnaba.
In addition, the brand has officially sponsored again to Wimbledon in London, which runs through July 16.
