Moynat is a French trunk-maker and luxury leather goods house founded in 1849 by Pauline Moynat in Paris. As the oldest trunk-maker in France, Moynat holds a unique place in the history of luxury craftsmanship.
Pauline Moynat was a pioneer — one of the first women to lead a luxury maison. She won the gold medal at the 1867 World’s Fair and became known for her innovative lightweight trunks designed for the emerging automobile age.
Revived by LVMH’s Bernard Arnault in 2011, Moynat has been reborn as an ultra-exclusive leather goods brand with limited production and exceptional artisanal quality.
