Schiaparelli is an Italian-French haute couture fashion house founded by Elsa Schiaparelli in 1927 in Paris. A rival of Coco Chanel, Schiaparelli was a pioneer of surrealist fashion, collaborating with artists like Salvador Dalí and Jean Cocteau.
The house introduced ‘shocking pink’ to the fashion world and created designs that blurred the line between fashion and art, including the famous Lobster Dress and Shoe Hat. After closing in 1954, the house was revived in 2012.
Under creative director Daniel Roseberry since 2019, Schiaparelli has experienced a spectacular renaissance, with surrealist haute couture that dominates red carpets and social media alike.
