Anticipation Builds for Sarah Burton’s New Chapter at Givenchy

Sarah Burton, who was appointed Creative Director of Givenchy in 2024, unveiled her first womenswear collection for the House in March, marking the beginning of a new creative era.

In that collection, Burton reinterpreted Hubert de Givenchy’s couture heritage and archival references while proposing a modern wardrobe for contemporary women. Through precise tailoring, sculptural hourglass silhouettes, and a refined sense of elegance, she presented a vision of femininity that balanced strength with grace. Burton has also expressed her intention to develop new silhouettes rooted in tailoring, an approach that has been widely praised for connecting the House’s heritage with a contemporary perspective.

Burton’s first menswear presentation for Givenchy is scheduled to take place in Paris on June 25, 2026, in a presentation format.
