On June 11, French luxury house Saint Laurent announced the appointment of Anouck Duranteau-Loeper as Deputy CEO in Charge of Product. Effective July 1, 2026, she will join the executive leadership team and report directly to Chief Executive Officer Cédric Charbit.
The appointment marks the creation of the first Deputy CEO position in Saint Laurent’s history and reflects the house’s efforts to further strengthen its leadership structure as it continues to evolve its product and business strategy.
Summary
- Saint Laurent has appointed Anouck Duranteau-Loeper as its first Deputy CEO in Charge of Product.
- Effective July 1, 2026, she will report directly to CEO Cédric Charbit and oversee the house’s product organization.
- Most recently, Duranteau-Loeper served as CEO of Isabel Marant, where she led key initiatives across accessories, menswear, and retail expansion.
- She will work closely with Anthony Vaccarello to oversee product development, merchandising, and collection strategy across the brand.
Duranteau-Loeper will oversee Saint Laurent’s product organization, including design studios, collection development, merchandising, and product operations. Working closely with Artistic Director Anthony Vaccarello, she will help shape the house’s product strategy across categories while strengthening the connection between creative direction and commercial execution.
Commenting on the appointment, Cédric Charbit said: “Anouck’s exceptional leadership, product expertise, and strong understanding of luxury brands make her uniquely positioned to help shape Saint Laurent’s next chapter of growth.”
He added: “As we continue to strengthen the house and invest in long-term value creation, her experience and vision will be instrumental in further elevating our product strategy and execution worldwide.”
Duranteau-Loeper brings more than two decades of experience in the luxury industry. She began her career at McKinsey & Company before spending approximately ten years at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. During her tenure at Celine, she led the leather goods and accessories division and worked across product development and brand strategy.
She later joined Puig-owned Paco Rabanne (now Rabanne), where she served as Fashion General Manager from 2013 to 2016. During that period, she helped relaunch the brand’s retail presence in Paris and oversaw the launch of its e-commerce operations.
In 2016, she joined Isabel Marant and went on to serve as CEO for nearly a decade. During her tenure, she led initiatives including the expansion of the accessories business, the revitalization of menswear, the repositioning of the Marant Étoile line, and the expansion of the brand’s retail network in key markets. Catherine Jacquet succeeded her as CEO in May 2026.
She was also elected President of the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Féminine in 2021, further cementing her influence within the French fashion industry.
The appointment comes as Saint Laurent continues to strengthen its position within Kering’s luxury portfolio. While Kering no longer reports financial results by individual brand, the group stated that Saint Laurent achieved year-on-year growth in the first quarter of 2026, supported by strong performance in North America, particularly in footwear and ready-to-wear, as well as successful new product launches.
The creation of the Deputy CEO in Charge of Product role highlights Saint Laurent’s continued investment in product leadership and organizational development as the house prepares for its next phase of growth.
