On April 25, Tiffany & Co. hosted a special event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to celebrate the launch of its latest high jewelry collection, Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder.
Designed by Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewelry and High Jewelry, Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder is a tribute to the allure, movement, and mystery of the ocean. Inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s legendary aquatic motifs, the collection reimagines the depths of the sea through a contemporary creative lens, resulting in a series of exquisite masterpieces.
At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a poetic atmosphere was created with the presence of Garden Landscape, a stained-glass masterpiece designed by Agnes F. Northrop for Louis Comfort Tiffany, which was added to the museum’s collection last year. This extraordinary artwork resonated beautifully with the ethereal world of Sea of Wonder, paying homage to Tiffany’s enduring artistic legacy.

The evening drew a dazzling roster of international celebrities. Tiffany’s global ambassador Anya Taylor-Joy graced the event alongside Mikey Madison, Alicia Keys, Greta Lee, Camille Cottin, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Chace Crawford, Dwyane Wade, and Ai Tominaga. Each guest showcased breathtaking Tiffany high jewelry pieces, celebrating the debut of Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder with elegance and glamour.

The collection explores the ocean’s hidden realms, from flourishing marine flora and fauna to the dynamic movement of the waves, portraying a fantastical journey from the figurative to the abstract.
Among the standout designs are the Ocean Flora necklace adorned with vibrant Zambian emeralds; the Seahorse creations featuring fluted moonstones and an array of colorful gemstones; and the Sea Turtle pieces, where intricate gold work and diamonds capture the beauty of a turtle’s shell.
Additionally, the Starfish designs, featuring dazzling Mozambican rubies; the Urchin pieces, showcasing the delicate texture of sea urchins with paillonné enameling; and the Wave necklace, accented with vivid blue cuprian elbaite tourmalines, highlight the exceptional craftsmanship that defines the collection.

Speaking about the collection, Nathalie Verdeille commented, “Each piece in our latest Blue Book collection, Sea of Wonder, captivates and invites us to lose ourselves in the rich storytelling as we embark on a journey through uncharted realms of the deep sea.”
“While each creation weaves a story of the ocean and its wonders, these extraordinary pieces also tell a broader narrative of the House’s love of pushing boundaries, our relentless pursuit of that which has never been done before, and the spirit of extraordinary savoir faire that has defined Tiffany & Co. since 1837. Drawing inspiration from Jean Schlumberger’s fascination with the sea, our House’s pioneering spirit endures, driving us to reinvent archival inspirations from a modern perspective.”
Through Sea of Wonder, Tiffany & Co. once again reaffirms its unwavering commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and a profound reverence for the infinite mysteries of nature, inviting the world to discover beauty hidden in the unexplored depths.
