Two of the fashion industry’s most respected PR agencies—Lucien Pagès Communication, led by Lucien Pagès, and AIPR, founded by Adam Iezzi—are embarking on a new chapter. The two firms have announced the launch of a joint venture, Lucien Pagès & AIPR, which will be based in London and focus on serving the U.K. market. The Paris and New York offices of Lucien Pagès Communication will continue to operate independently.

This strategic move follows the acquisition of Lucien Pagès Communication by The Independents in December 2024. The Independents is a global communications group that includes leading agencies such as Karla Otto, Lefty, and Bureau Betak, and has been pursuing an aggressive growth and M&A strategy in recent years.

Pagès and Iezzi have long shared clients—including JW Anderson, Loewe, and APC—making this partnership a natural evolution of their collaboration. Both are also known for their deep commitment to nurturing emerging design talent. Iezzi began working with JW Anderson shortly after the brand’s founding, while Pagès has supported designers such as Chitose Abe of Sacai and Simon Porte Jacquemus from the early days of their international rise.

Speaking on the merger, Isabelle Chouvet, CEO of The Independents, commented:
“Lucien introduced us to Adam, and we were immediately impressed by the quality of his customer portfolio and reputation, which naturally aligned with our own values. I knew they had been talking about working together for some time, and I’m delighted that the group was able to facilitate this match-up. This alliance is a perfect illustration of the synergies we wish to encourage, and we are delighted to welcome Adam and his team to The Independents.”

In 2023, The Independents secured a $400 million capital injection led by TowerBrook Capital Partners and Banijay Group, further fueling its international expansion strategy. As a result, the group’s revenue soared from $350 million in 2022 to $800 million in 2024.

With the creation of Lucien Pagès & AIPR, the two PR leaders plant a bold new flag in London—one of fashion’s most important global hubs. As the partnership unfolds, all eyes will be on how this venture reshapes the dynamics of luxury fashion communications across borders.
