On June 25, Los Angeles luxury brand AMIRI unveiled its Spring/Summer 2027 Menswear & Womenswear Collection, titled American Pleasures, during Paris Fashion Week Men’s.
Creative Director Mike Amiri turned to the brand’s hometown of Los Angeles as the collection’s emotional landscape, exploring the sensuality, freedom, and cinematic glamour that emerge after dark. Spanning both menswear and womenswear, the collection blended relaxed American dressing with fluid tailoring, presenting a contemporary vision of effortless sophistication.

“American Pleasures” and the Allure of Nighttime Los Angeles
For Spring/Summer 2027, AMIRI looked to Los Angeles after sunset—from Malibu at dusk to Beverly Hills at midnight—as the foundation of its narrative.
The collection explored how moving through the city transforms identity, shifting effortlessly from casual to formal and from public to private. Hotel bars, secluded mansions, and private clubs became the backdrop for a cinematic story where seduction and sophistication coexist.
The 1980 film American Gigolo served as one of the collection’s key references, reimagining Los Angeles through a different era while extending AMIRI’s longstanding cinematic point of view.
Speaking about the collection, Mike Amiri said: “I’m always fascinated by this idea of ease – the idea of an American attitude, how to translate that to clothing. For AMIRI, I always want to combine that with glamour – for him, and for her. Looking after dark, at a character who is a nightcrawler, this provocative figure, this collection is about a tension between seduction and sophistication, a soft tailoring and refined elegance that feels modern.”
Fluid Tailoring Defines a New Elegance
At the heart of the collection was a softer interpretation of tailoring.
Relaxed shoulders and fluid silhouettes gave jackets and suiting a sense of constant movement, while styling paired denim with tailored blazers and combined traditional menswear fabrics such as houndstooth and herringbone with embroidery and decorative patterns, reinforcing AMIRI’s distinctly American approach to dressing.
The collection’s material palette further reflected its nocturnal mood. Silk and linen woven with lurex threads, along with laminated finishes, created subtle reflections reminiscent of moonlight. Classic tailoring fabrics—including tweed, glen plaid, and metallic pinstripes—were infused with understated iridescence, lending Hollywood glamour a contemporary expression.
Rather than relying on heavy embellishment, the collection emphasized the richness of its textiles. Ombré beaded bow ties, worn loosely draped around the neck, evoked the fleeting moment between the end of one night and the beginning of another.
The color palette combined espresso, tobacco, and midnight navy with accents of venom green, burnt sunset, and lavender, while silver and gold echoed the glow of the city after dark.
Hollywood Interiors Reimagined Through Decoration
Decorative elements drew inspiration from some of Los Angeles’ most iconic interiors.
References to the Formosa Cafe, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, and secluded Hollywood mansions appeared through zebra motifs, lacquer-like finishes, and American-Asian-inspired embroideries reminiscent of tapestries and folding screens, creating a distinctly West Coast sense of luxury.
This atmosphere extended beyond the garments themselves. The show’s scenography at Carreau du Temple recreated the mood of Hollywood nightlife, transforming a Parisian venue into a cinematic vision of Los Angeles after dark.
Introducing the AMIRI Biscotto and the Brand’s First Fine Jewelry Collection
Accessories played a key role in reinforcing the collection’s relaxed elegance.
The season introduced the new AMIRI Biscotto bag, named after its folded silhouette inspired by a fortune cookie. Finished with refined gold-tone hardware, the design is available in two sizes and offered in leather, chain mail, and crystal variations, embodying the collection’s effortless sophistication.
AMIRI also debuted its first-ever fine jewelry collaboration with Spinelli Kilcollin. Created in partnership with founders Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin, the collaboration marks the brand’s entry into fine jewelry and brings together two of the American West Coast’s leading luxury names.
The partnership represents another step in AMIRI’s evolution, expanding its vision of luxury beyond ready-to-wear while reinforcing the brand’s growing lifestyle universe.
