ANDAM 2026 Welcomes Burç Akyol, Jeanne Cadieu, and Lyas to Its Jury

ANDAM 2026

France’s leading fashion support award, the ANDAM Fashion Award, has announced its jury for 2026. Three new members — Burç Akyol, Jeanne Cadieu, and Lyas — join the panel, further strengthening the judging body. Each of the three newly appointed jurors operates beyond the boundaries of fashion, engaging with image-making, culture, and their relationship with society at large.

AMI Paris Founder to Chair the Jury

This year’s jury will be chaired by Alexandre Mattiussi, founder of AMI Paris. Under his leadership, a diverse group of figures spanning design, culture, and business will come together to discover and nurture the next generation of designers.

They will be joined by a distinguished roster of guest jurors: Inès de la Fressange, Lolita Jacobs, Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet-Napoleone, Théo Mercier, Jean-Jacques Picart, Nicolas Santi-Weil, and Sophie Fontanel — each bringing a distinct and varied background to the table.

Founded in 1989, ANDAM has long played a key role in supporting the development of emerging designers through financial backing and mentorship. Its evaluation criteria go beyond aesthetic excellence, requiring candidates to demonstrate both a clear brand identity and long-term business viability.

In today’s landscape—where design, image, business, and culture are increasingly interconnected—the central question becomes whether a brand can truly exist and sustain itself. This framework reflects the essential qualities expected of the next generation of designers.

For the 2026 edition, a total prize fund of €700,000 will be distributed. The Grand Prize winner will receive €300,000, while the Special Prize will be awarded €100,000. Additional €100,000 prizes will be granted across categories, including the Pierre Bergé Prize, the Accessories Prize, and the Innovation Prize.

Beyond financial support, winners will benefit from a one-year mentorship led by industry leaders. This guidance spans creative direction, business strategy, and distribution development, offering practical support tailored to each brand’s growth stage. Notably, the Innovation Prize recognizes advancements in areas such as biotechnology, new materials, production, distribution, and the circular economy—highlighting a forward-looking approach to the future of fashion.

The finalists for 2026 are set to be announced at the end of May, with the final deliberations and award ceremony scheduled for July 1.
