BLACKPINK’s Jennie Launches Her Own Label OA (ODD ATELIER) and Company

BLACKPINK’s Jennie is starting a new journey.

On December 24 (local time), Jennie announced the launch of her fashion label “OA (ODD ATELIER)” on her Instagram, which has over 82 million users.

OA (ODD ATELIER), established in November, translates to “odd workshop” in English and aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected. A key visual of Jennie was released on the label’s official account, followed by the announcement that this was the company she had founded for her “solo journey.”

Jennie posted the following statement on Instagram about the label.

“Hi, this is Jennie. This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received. I’m also about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course BLACKPINK. Thank you.”

Jennie continued to unleash her presence around the world in 2023. Not only did she release her long-awaited solo work, but she also made her acting debut on the HBO series “The Idol,” was named a headliner at Coachella as part of BLACKPINK’s record-breaking “Born Pink” world tour, and was named an honorary member of the Order of the British Empire.

She has announced a new step forward as “OA (ODD ATELIER)” to close out the year, and there are high expectations for more news in the future.
