On June 24, Dior announced that football superstar Kylian Mbappé, currently a key player for Real Madrid, has been appointed as the brand’s new ambassador under the creative leadership of Jonathan Anderson. The reveal came through a pair of teaser videos, released in the lead-up to Dior’s highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2026 menswear show on June 27.

The brand shared two short clips on its social media platforms: in one, Mbappé adjusts a red-and-blue striped tie over a blue-and-white shirt, wearing a gray herringbone wool jacket; in the other, he appears in a classic black tuxedo with an undone black bow tie and white shirt.

In a statement, creative director Jonathan Anderson said: “Kylian Mbappé is the voice of a generation and an inspiration to many people in the world of sport and beyond. These films show the charm and charisma that make him the perfect ambassador for this house.”

Additionally, within the LVMH group, Louis Vuitton has been announced as the official sponsor responsible for dressing Real Madrid players for their official travel, further highlighting the group’s growing synergy with the world of sports.

In the days leading up to the show, Dior and Anderson have shared a series of visual teasers on social media. Among them: a silver-gray frog, a rare Polaroid of Lee Radziwill shot by Andy Warhol, a 1980s portrait of Jean-Michel Basquiat, and a striking yellow tote boldly printed with the words “Dracula by Bram Stoker.”

With art, aristocracy, and literature as key motifs, Dior hints at a bold new chapter under Anderson’s vision. The Dior Spring/Summer 2026 menswear collection will debut during Paris Men’s Fashion Week on Friday, June 27 at 2:30 p.m. CET.
