French luxury maison Longchamp has unveiled a new edition of its iconic “Le Pliage®” bag, titled “Greetings from New York,” celebrating two decades of creative collaboration with American designer Jeremy Scott.
The launch coincides with the ongoing exhibitions “Hidden Treasures” and “Jeremy Scott Retrospective” currently taking place in New York. In the U.S., the bag is available at Longchamp’s SoHo flagship “La Maison Unique” as well as through the brand’s official online store, retailing for $385.

A Two-Decade Creative Partnership
The relationship between Longchamp and Jeremy Scott began in 2006 with the launch of the limited-edition luggage collection “This Is Not Your Bag,” created to celebrate the opening of the brand’s flagship store in SoHo, New York.
Since then, Scott has continuously reimagined “Le Pliage®” through his signature blend of pop culture references, humor, and graphic visuals. Over the past 20 years, the partnership has produced more than 25 collaborative bag designs, transforming the iconic tote into a playful, creative canvas.
Many of the designs have become collector’s items and have been carried by celebrities including Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Elle Fanning, Rita Ora, and Miley Cyrus.
A Tribute to New York
The newly released “Greetings from New York” is based on the classic “Le Pliage®” travel bag and features a striking illustration of the Manhattan skyline, designed to resemble a snapshot captured while traveling.
The reverse side of the bag incorporates a handwritten postcard-style graphic with the playful message: “Wish you were here! Love, Jeremy.”
The bag is crafted from recycled polyester canvas with cowhide leather handles and flap detailing.
Exhibitions in New York
Longchamp is currently participating in “Hidden Treasures,” an exhibition organized by Comité Colbert that celebrates the cultural dialogue between France and the United States in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. The exhibition features 68 French maisons and is being held at The Shed in New York.
As part of the exhibition, Longchamp is showcasing “Greetings from Paris,” a special “Le Pliage®” design originally created in 2014 to commemorate the opening of the brand’s Champs-Élysées flagship.
Meanwhile, Longchamp’s SoHo flagship “La Maison Unique” is hosting “Jeremy Scott Retrospective,” an exhibition dedicated to the designer’s long-running collaboration with the maison. The exhibition includes some of the most iconic bags from the “Greetings from” series, including editions inspired by Paris, Hollywood, and Paradise.
The store façade has also been transformed with a large-scale visual featuring Scott’s early “Telephone” design set against a vibrant turquoise backdrop.
The launch celebration welcomed guests, including Zoey Deutch, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kate Mara, Emma Roberts, Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, Coco Rocha, Ashley Benson, Joan Smalls, and Martha Hunt.
During the event, the new bag was dramatically unveiled via a drone presentation, while guests enjoyed music by the New York-based DJ duo The Misshapes.
