Summary

  • MANGO will invest €66 million in France between 2026 and 2028
  • The company plans to open 45 new stores over three years, averaging 15 openings annually
  • Each new store is expected to create approximately 15 jobs
  • The expansion will target both major cities and smaller regional markets, including MANGO’s debut in 10 new locations
  • France is MANGO’s largest international market, where the company currently operates more than 250 points of sale across over 170 cities

Expanding Its Retail Footprint Across France

The planned store openings will extend beyond major metropolitan areas to include small and medium-sized cities. Currently, more than 80 percent of MANGO’s French store network is located in these regional markets, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting local communities and regional economic development.

As part of the expansion, MANGO will enter 10 new French cities for the first time, further broadening its nationwide presence.

The investment also supports the company’s omnichannel strategy, which combines physical retail with digital and phygital solutions to enhance the customer experience. By expanding its store network while strengthening its digital capabilities, MANGO aims to provide a more integrated shopping journey for consumers.

More Than Three Decades of Growth in France

MANGO entered the French market in 1994 with the opening of its first store in Montpellier. The company subsequently expanded into major cities including Paris, Toulouse, Lille, Nîmes, and Strasbourg, steadily building its presence across the country.

In the late 2000s, MANGO opened several key flagship locations, including large-format stores in Paris’s Haussmann district and La Défense, as well as prominent sites in Lyon’s République district and Strasbourg’s Rivetoile shopping center.

During the 2010s, the company accelerated its expansion into secondary cities, significantly increasing the reach of its retail network throughout France.

Since 2022, MANGO has added more than 12,500 square meters of retail space, continuing to invest in the growth of its physical footprint.

France Remains MANGO’s Largest International Market

Today, MANGO operates more than 250 points of sale across over 170 cities throughout France, with a presence in every region of the country. The company also maintains a strong online presence through its e-commerce platform and third-party marketplaces.

As MANGO’s largest international market, France remains central to the company’s long-term growth strategy. Through continued investment in both physical retail and digital innovation, the brand aims to deepen its market penetration and strengthen its position in one of Europe’s most important fashion markets.
